How to send video, games, FaceTime and more from your new iPad to your TV with AirPlay

Back when iOS 4.2 was released, Apple introduced a new feature called AirPlay. Although limited at the time, AirPlay allowed any video using Apple?s standard media control to beam image and sound over a local Wi-Fi network to an Apple TV for viewing on the big screen. Later on, iOS 4.3 brought more functionality to the service by adding support for Apple?s Photo app and various other 3rd party apps. Now with iOS 5, AirPlay mirroring lets any screen of any app to be displayed on an Apple TV over Wi-Fi including games and yes, even FaceTime.
