What Eventually Leads to Success | Exceed ... - Self Improvement Tips

What leads to success

I remember a few years back, it had always a dream of mine to open up a website where people would come to for their self help needs. Regardless of how easy this may seem, there are much more back work imagined in running a website. Being that this was after I become unemployed, I was faced with two decisions: Either continue finding another 9 to 5 job, or take a risk and make a living doing something I love.

With this powerful decision I held onto my hands, I decided to take a risk, something that most people fear of, and created Self Exceed.

This may not seem like a big deal to you, but for any webmasters reading this, they know that maintaining a website can cost over $120+ a year. Especially when I was unemployed at the time, this does not include the time invested and a guarantee of a profitable future either!

But I?m not going to keep on rambling on about the problems that came starting up a personal development website. After all, this website is still here, and thus why I want to tell you how it still is alive while growing.

I lay awoke many nights just thinking of the greatest things that can happen if I opened up a personal development website. This was a problem here. I was only a dreamer.

While I agree that our mind should always be focused on the positive outcome of a result (it keeps us motivated to continue doing what we do), I have been merely fantasizing of what was nothing more than a positive impact for my brain?which is OK. However, success does not happen telekinetically. At least where I?m from it doesn?t.

It wasn?t after when I left my 9 to 5 job that I finally took action. I want you to understanding that with action backed up by a powerful positive desire, it will lead up to something great. It may not come now or later, but with your persistence in anything, greatness will come.

I couldn?t wait for success, so I went ahead without it.

Like the stress and failures that you will face, this is nothing more than success testing your patience. In other words, how bad do you want to actually make this dream of yours a reality?

Dreaming may be the next best thing, unless you?re facing nightmare. But experiencing the real thing is much more desirable, minus the nightmare.

What are the nightmares? It?s when you encounter things that affect your performance. Like a triathlon athlete, injuring a leg would be a nightmare. A singer who is about to go on stage that all of a sudden loses his or her voice is a nightmare.

Did I have nightmares while maintaining Self Exceed? Sure I did. You have probably heard news about websites being hacked and taken over. Those events are nightmares to me.

But like most nightmares encountered at night, you eventually fall back to sleep. Maybe not right away, but sooner or later you will. Why is this? Because you need sleep.

People who face failure? equally just as powerful as nightmare?need success.? They may not succeed right off the bat, but sooner or later, they will with persistence.

As a child when you experienced nightmare, who was it that you needed? For me, it was my mom. Although there is some humor looking back at this, as an adult when you experience failure, who will you need then?

The answer is those who keep you motivated. This brings me to say this:

Surround yourself with positive people

How to get back up from failureI met a really great person and friend about a year ago. His name is Andrew, but everyone likes to call him Dusty for some reason.

Great guy though. I would say that he is equivalent to being my mom during my nightmares?minus the appearance of a feminine look.? He became my go-to guy for motivation and we shared positive vibe to each other when facing the evitable failures.

Point being is that we all need someone who is able to lift us up from failure. Without my mom being there for me when I had nightmares, I would have fear going back to sleep. Well, at least for that night.

The difference when you don?t surround yourself with positive people is absolutely huge.

The difference is that you may never want to try succeeding again. Sleep is necessary for life, but being successful is not vital to living.

I remember my mom saying to me that everything would be okay.

Fall back to sleep honey, you will not be having nightmare as long as I?m here.

?

This was nothing more than positive affirmation. It gave me assurance to try and fall back asleep.

Just as nightmare is equal to failure, Andrew kept feeding me off his positive affirmation by saying

You can do this man, as long as I?m here to give you a boost.

It gave me motivation to keep on going when I faced failures.

Knowing that you are getting positive affirmations is the most assuring feeling next to desire. However, this still makes no difference in failure being inevitable.

Just the same as getting a nightmare, would you be able to fall back asleep just as you would get back up from failing? Perhaps with enough assurance and persistence, it seems as if anything is possible.
